Water Safety
Water Safety: SAFETY is the number 1 issue that should be considered at all times. It must be a way of life around your backyard pool. Safety is not just for children but for everyone that is in and around your pool.
Adult Supervision: The enjoyment of your pool will increase by ensuring that at least one non-swimming adult is present to supervise at all times. No matter what your age or skill level it is important for the safety of everyone that uses the pool.
Fencing; Check with your local municipal by-law office for code requirements.
Safety Covers: Non-penetrate covers that completely cover, or block access to the pool water. There are many types available choosing the one that best suits your needs and is visually enhancing to your outside living environment can be done with the staff of Trasolini Pools Ltd
Alarms and locks: There are many different types of Alarms that trigger a warning sound when someone or something has entered the pool area. . These should be placed on gates and/or doors leading to pool area as well as pool alarms.
Ropes and float Line: Consider placing a float line across your pool to separate the deep end from the shallow end, this will let swimmers.
Life Lines or Hooks: These devices are used to pull someone from the pool to safety. Remember these are not toys and should be located close to near pool for easy access in a clearly marked location,
Emergency kit and information: First aid kits are always a good idea keep it well stocked, post CPR information, and warning signs in a visible spot near the pool. Consider performing safety drills to remind everyone what to do in case of an emergency.
Outside Telephone: A cordless phone is a good idea so you wont have to leave the pool area to contact emergency services (911) if needed.
Toys, floats and games: Make sure that all toys are age appropriate for each person using them. Never leave any toys or games in or around the pool, put them away in a secure location when not in use.
Cleaners, Chemicals and maintenance equipment: All equipment used to maintain your pool should be stored in a locked storage area away from children and pets. Check labels for proper storage requirements and expiration dates.
Sunscreen: Even on cooler days the suns ultraviolet rays can burn, chose the level of protection that is right for you and don’t forget to use it.
