Pool Designs
Pools Designs: when deciding on the type of pool that best suits your needs, these are some of the types of pools to consider.
Games Pool: The games pool typically is no deeper than 5’6” in the middle and 3’6” at the shallow ends. Games pools generally are build for cooling off, relaxing and family fun— playing games such as volleyball and other water games. This pool can also be used for swimming laps. Note that because of the depth of this type of pool diving boards are not permitted.
Freeform pool: A freeform pool is a lagoon style pool. Can be enhanced with a water feature attached.
Geometric pool: Geometric pools have very straight lines or a consistent radius and are more traditional looking. This type of pool can be designed to any depth and have many of the other features that we offer.
Lap pools: Lap pools are typically narrow and long, these are used for exercise and swimming for health and fitness. Ask us about the swim jets options that are available with any of our other designs if you would like to have this health benefit included in your pool.
Negative Edge: Negative Edge pools are also referred to as infinity edge pools. These are designed to look like the pool extends all the way out into the horizon. The mechanics and engineering of infinity pools cannot be compromised. This type of pool is becoming more popular.
Perimeter Overflow Pool: This is a pool where the water level in the pool is the same as the top of the decking. Around the pool perimeter is a channel or notch that the water drains into creating a visual masterpiece. It looks like a reflective pool.
